Food Lovers Diet Menu

The 7-Day Slim Down: Drop Twice the Weight in Half the Time with the Vitamin D Diet price

A food lovers diet menu enables you to take part in a diet without giving up a lot of food and still eating delicious meals. The diet menu is made up of healthy foods, including whole grains, fruits, vegetables, low fat dairy and lean protein. At the same time, it limits the intake of fat and refined carbohydrates, and reduces calorie intake by about 500 a day.

A food lover's diet consists of about 1500 calories, which includes 400 calories for breakfast, 500 calories for lunch and 600 calories for dinner. Depending on whether you eat a few healthy snacks throughout the course of the day, the amount of calories you consume for breakfast, lunch and dinner will vary. Your diet should include 5 to 6 servings of whole grains, 2 to 3 servings of fruits and vegetables each, 5 to 6 oz. of lean protein, and 2 to 3 servings of low fat or non-fat dairy. This healthy combination of foods will enable you to eat more than you would in an ordinary diet.
There are a number of options for recipes and meals on the food lover's diet menu. For breakfast, you can have a multigrain waffle with peanut butter and blueberries, as well as cup of orange juice. Other breakfast menu options include a breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, low fat cheese, salsa, coriander and cantaloupe, and served with a low fat latte; oatmeal with almonds, cinnamon and banana; or non-fat yoghurt with mixed berries and multi-grain toast.
For lunch, you can have a tortilla with low fat cheese, black beans, avocado, cucumber, and tomato; or a grilled tomato and cheese sandwich with whole wheat bread and served with salad. For dinner, your menu should have lots of non-starch vegetables like broccoli, spinach and carrots. You can have a steak with peas, sweet potato, carrots, Caesar salad, and have a healthy fruit dessert.
There are a variety of delicious meals that can be part of your diet menu. Also, while a food lover's diet is meant for people who don't want to give up eating food they love, controlling your portions and exercising are important when it comes to successfully losing and managing you weight.
